This is the injection moulded polyurethane seat for K Care mobile shower commodes built on the narrower frame. It is a closed front seat, so the client has support right through the front of the aperture, and it comes with the pan carrier runners already fitted.
The seat clips on and lifts off without tools, which matters more than it sounds. Staff can strip it for cleaning between clients, swap it out when a service is due, or change to a different aperture shape if the client’s needs move on, all without touching the rest of the chair.
Polyurethane gives a warmer, slightly forgiving surface for short showering and toileting sessions and wipes down easily.
