A self propelling shower commode with a weight bearing footplate, for a client who takes some load through their feet during a stand or a pivot.
Who it suits
The footplate slides out and retracts, so it supports the feet in transit and moves clear at the point of transfer. The swing up arms clear the way for a side transfer, and the three strap backrest gives support while leaving access for perineal care. Two rear wheels with push to lock brakes let the client propel, and an integrated push handle is there for carer assistance.
It is designed around a K Care removable seat, so the seat can be matched to the client’s pressure and continence needs.
