Independence in the bathroom is worth a lot, and the Raz-SP is built so a client with good upper limb function can push themselves to the shower and over the toilet without waiting for a carer. Large rear wheels with quick access handrims do the propelling, and dual locking castors hold the chair still for transfers.
Multi-position axle plates move the rear wheels up, down and fore and aft, so the chair can be set for efficient pushing and for clearance over a toilet bowl at the same time. The frame is dropped at the front to help the chair roll over standard bowls, and the seat is contoured moulded foam for pressure distribution and pelvic stability.
The Ischial and Pelvic Alignment System shifts the seat so the aperture sits where it should on the client, and a tension adjustable back gives individualised trunk support that can be washed.
