The Roll-InBuddy Solo is for a client with enough upper limb function to push themselves, who has a level entry or roll-in shower at home. It rolls over most standard toilet pans and straight into the shower, so one seated position covers both toileting and showering and the number of transfers in a bathroom routine drops.
The frame is marine grade aluminium with stainless steel hardware, which is what you want in a wet room. Arms lock down and flip back for side transfers, the footrests swing away and come off, and the commode system includes a splash deflector. A soft blow moulded cushion sits on the seat, and lap, chest and calf straps are supplied for clients who need positioning support.
Seat height adjusts, so it can be set to clear the toilet pan and still suit a sliding board transfer from a wheelchair. Assembly is tool free and the frame carries a lifetime warranty.
