For a client who drifts sideways once they are seated, the ShowerBuddy lateral gives the trunk something to work against. The pads sit either side of the person and hold them upright through the shower, which takes pressure off a carer who would otherwise be steadying them with one hand.
They fit with a clamp bracket onto the push handle, so there is no drilling and no permanent change to the chair. The pads swing away for transfers and can be adjusted for angle and position as posture changes. An optional chest belt threads from one lateral to the other if the client needs a bit more anterior support.
