Without push handles, a Rifton HTS on a mobile base has to be moved by the frame, which is awkward for the carer and puts them in a poor position to steer.
These handles are sold as a pair and attach to the extrusion at the back of the HTS backrest, the same extrusion the lateral supports use. Once fitted, a carer can push a seated child or adult between the bedroom, the bathroom and the toilet without lifting and without a second transfer.
They suit any client already on an HTS with a mobile base who is moved by a carer rather than self propelling. Order them when the HTS is first quoted, or add them later if the client’s mobility changes.
Good to know
- Fits small, medium and large HTS, so no size needs to be specified
- Intended for the mobile base configuration, not a fixed or floor standing HTS
- Fitting is required; supplied with a 1 year warranty
