A tensioned backrest gives a Roll-InBuddy XL user contoured support that follows the shape of the back. The fabric adjusts to three positions, so you can set the shape that keeps your client’s trunk where you want it and change it later if their posture does.
The fabric is a mesh, which drips dry between uses. That matters for a chair being used several times a day, or in a shared bathroom where there is no time for anything to dry out properly, and it keeps the smell out of the equipment.
It can be specified when the chair is ordered or retrofitted to an XL already in service. Worth setting it up with the client seated and wet, since posture in the shower is rarely the same as posture in the clinic.
