About this product

For a small adult or a child, a chair that is wide at the hips lets them slide sideways in the seat, and a client who slides is a client who is not properly supported. The A-P1 arms bring the sides in close, so the person is held by the chair.

The arms flip away for transfers and lock down once the client is seated. The slide lock sits on the outside of the chair, which keeps the inside clear at hip level. They install in reverse into the vertical tubes of the adult backrest, so the chair itself does not need replacing.

Because they are removable, a growing child can move to the wider set later and keep the same chair, which is often the difference between one funded item and two.
