The Dar-Avoid CPM seat is a pressure management seat for a shower commode, made for clients who sit for longer sessions on the chair and whose skin is at risk. The padded surface spreads load away from the sitting bones, which is the area that suffers most on a hard commode seat.
The open front keeps hygiene access clear for the carer, so washing and toileting can be done without moving the client off the chair. You can order it in Dartex or vinyl: Dartex has a stretch top surface that moves with the skin, vinyl wipes down quickly and stands up to heavy shared use in a facility.
Three widths are offered, which lets you fit the seat to the client’s hips and not just to the frame.
