The DE08L Premium Lite Sport pairs the pull-apart base with 305 mm (12 in) pneumatic rear tyres. It splits into a 13 kg drive segment and a 14.3 kg frame for lifting, then rides on air tyres that take the edge off gravel, grass and broken footpaths.
It shares the 490 x 440 mm seat, 160 kg capacity, 12 degree climbing and height-adjustable backrest of the DE08, and adds a curved backrest and a double-hinge extended footrest. Range is about 15 km per 1.6 kg lithium battery, up to 45 km with three. Portable Mobility supplies an MSDS for the battery for air travel.
Who it suits
Adults up to 160 kg who can transfer independently, want a softer ride on rougher ground, and need the chair to come apart into lighter pieces for the car.
