The DE08 Premium Lite solves the lifting problem by splitting in two. The drive segment, at 12.5 kg, comes away from the 14.3 kg frame, so nobody has to lift the whole 26.8 kg chair into the car at once. It shares the published seat size and dimensions of the A08 Premium, with a pull-apart base.
Once together it has a 490 x 440 mm seat, 160 kg capacity, 12 degree climbing, 64 mm ground clearance and suspension front and rear. Range is about 15 km per 1.6 kg lithium battery, with up to three batteries for 45 km. Portable Mobility supplies an MSDS for the battery for air travel.
Who it suits
Adults up to 160 kg who can transfer independently, where the person or their carer can manage about 14 kg at a time but not a whole folded chair.
