The A10 Carbon Ultra is the top of the Freedom Chair range. The black carbon fibre frame weighs 20 kg without its 1.9 kg battery, and it folds down to 390 mm wide, which suits small boots, hallways and hotel rooms.
Large pneumatic tyres, 318 mm (12.5 in) at the rear and 200 mm at the front, and 75 mm of ground clearance give it a comfortable ride. Electronic regenerative disc brakes, a 40 A brushless controller and a Bluetooth control panel with phone app control come standard. The tightest turn is 950 mm radius.
Who it suits
Adults up to 120 kg who can transfer independently, travel often and want a carbon fibre chair with a soft ride on pneumatic tyres. The narrow fold suits small cars and tight storage.
