The A15 Everyday is the newest model in the Freedom Chair range, designed for regular, everyday use. It weighs 21 kg without its 1.9 kg battery, folds to 335 mm high for the boot, and turns in an 825 mm radius, which helps inside the home and in small shops.
Twin 200 W rear-wheel drive motors give up to 6 km/h and about 15 km on one battery, or 30 km on two. Pneumatic tyres, 254 mm (10 in) at the rear and 203 mm (8 in) at the front, with rubber cushion suspension, soften the ride. Electronic regenerative disc brakes and an adjustable backrest are standard, and a pouch on the backrest carries the essentials. Portable Mobility describes the batteries as airline safe.
Who it suits
Adults up to 120 kg who can transfer independently and want a light, simple folding powerchair for daily use around the home and community.
