This is a rear wheel self propelling shower commode for a client who can push themselves and wants to manage showering and toileting without a carer doing the driving.
Who it suits
It fits a wide client who needs a generous seat and a high load rating, and who has the upper limb strength to propel. The rear wheels have push to lock brakes, and there is an integrated push handle for the times a carer does need to take over. The padded arms come off for a side transfer, the backrest is padded and curved, and the footrest swings away and adjusts for height.
It takes a K Care removable seat, chosen to suit the client’s skin and continence needs, and push rims are available.
