Who it suits
Clients who cannot maintain an upright sitting posture through a full shower and toilet routine, and who need to be wheeled between the bedroom, the shower and the toilet in one chair. The gas strut tilt lets the carer change the hip angle smoothly, so fatigue, sliding forward and pressure through the sit bones can all be managed part way through a wash.
The frame is grade 304 stainless steel throughout, which holds up to daily use in a wet room. Armrests swing away independently for side transfers and lock down for safety while the chair is moving, the legrest raises to support the calf and knee, and the footrest swings clear without catching the skin on the shins. Total locking castors hold the chair still during transfers and let it turn on the spot in a tight bathroom.
The chair can be positioned over a standard toilet, or used with a pan carrier where that is not possible. The seat is ordered separately so the aperture, padding and width can be matched to the client.
