A shower is a long time to hold yourself upright. The Invacare Aquatec Ocean VIP Ergo is a tilt in space shower commode for clients who cannot manage that, letting the attendant tilt the seat back so weight comes off the sacrum and the client can rest against the backrest instead of fighting to stay up.
Seat height adjusts without tools, so the chair can be set to roll over the client’s own toilet rather than forcing a second transfer. The contoured ergonomic seat has a commode aperture, the backrest is tension adjustable and machine washable, and the armrests swing away and adjust in height for side transfers. Who it suits
Adults with reduced trunk control, fatigue or pressure injury risk who are showered and toileted with carer assistance: for example clients with neurological conditions, after stroke, or in residential aged care.
