The ShowerBuddy Roll-InBuddy Tilt is a tilt shower commode chair for accessible and roll-in showers. The seat holds at any point through its tilt range, so pressure comes off the seat and a client with poor trunk control can rest back rather than brace through a whole shower or toilet routine.
Seat height adjusts so the chair can be set to roll over the client’s toilet, which saves a transfer. The frame is 6061 T6 aluminium with stainless steel hardware, built for constant wet use, and it assembles without tools. The padded seat cushion has a cut-out, the backrest is padded and adjustable, and the arms flip back, lock and can be removed, which makes a side transfer from bed or wheelchair much easier on the carer. A commode bucket is included.
Who it suits
Adults who are showered by a carer and need tilt for pressure relief, fatigue or positioning: clients with spinal cord injury, MS, advanced neurological conditions or reduced sitting tolerance. The flip back arms make side transfers from a bed or wheelchair easier for the carer.
