Heavy duty tilt is hard on carers. The Raz-AT600 answers that with the Weight Assist Spring System, a spring pack matched to the client’s weight and centre of mass so the attendant tilts and returns the chair with modest effort.
The rest of the chair is built for bariatric bathroom work: a wide stainless steel frame, a large moulded seat, heavy duty adjustable footrests and six inch dual locking castors that keep the chair moving on wet floors. The Multi-Position Back moves fore and aft to set seat depth and balance, and the Ischial and Pelvic Alignment System centres the aperture on the pelvis.
Tilt gives pressure relief and trunk support through longer showering and toileting sessions, and the head support fixture supports clients who cannot hold head position through the tilt.
