Some clients need a hospital bed at home but don’t want their bedroom to look like a ward. The IC333 is built for exactly that. It drops low enough to take the worry out of a night-time fall, rises high enough for a carer or a hoist transfer, and the backrest and knee break let someone sit up, read or eat without being repositioned by hand.
Trendelenburg and reverse tilt are on the handset, which is backlit and can run two functions at once, so a carer working in a dim room is not hunting for buttons. Battery backup keeps the bed moving through a power cut. Rounded CurveX corners reduce the risk of skin injuries in a tight bedroom, and the bed rolls on eight castors with a lock at each corner. Commercial grade upholstery comes in four colours that read as furniture rather than equipment.
Who it suits
The queen and split queen sizes are the reason many couples choose this bed: one side adjusts while both people keep sharing the bed.
