The A08 Premium sits in the middle of the Freedom Chair range. Compared with the A06 and A07 it adds a wider seat, a 160 kg weight capacity, a height-adjustable backrest and more climbing ability at 12 degrees, and it still folds for the car.
The frame weighs 23.5 kg without its 1.6 kg lithium battery. Range is about 15 km per battery, and it takes up to three, so 45 km is possible for long days or holidays. Ground clearance of 64 mm helps with kerb ramps and uneven paths, and an under-seat pouch carries the essentials. Portable Mobility offers an automatic seat tilt as an option on this model.
Who it suits
Adults up to 160 kg who can transfer independently and want a folding powerchair for everyday community use, with more room in the seat and more range than the A06 or A07.
