The A07 Lite is built for the person who lifts the chair themselves, or whose carer does. At 20 kg without its 1.6 kg battery it is one of the lightest models in the Freedom Chair range.
It is also narrower than most of the range at 560 mm overall, which helps in older homes, narrow shop aisles and lifts. Twin 250 W brushless motors give 1 to 7 km/h, with about 15 km on one battery or 30 km on two. Suspension front and rear smooths out footpaths, and the joystick can sit on the left or the right armrest.
Who it suits
Adults up to 120 kg who can transfer independently and want a light chair for car travel and day trips, especially where a partner or carer does the lifting. A narrow overall width suits tighter homes. People who need a wider seat or more adjustment should compare the A08 Premium. The prescribing OT makes the final call.
