The A12 Carbon Max brings the carbon fibre frame to people who need more capacity. It is rated to 160 kg against the A10’s 120 kg, weighs 20 kg and folds to 430 mm wide, so it is still light and compact enough for most car boots.
Flip-up armrests make side transfers easier, and the joystick mounts on either side. Pneumatic tyres, 318 mm (12.5 in) at the rear and 216 mm (8.5 in) at the front, soften the ride. One battery gives about 15 km, and it takes up to three for 45 km. A Bluetooth remote with voice playback, a USB charging port and an under-seat pouch are standard.
