After lymph node surgery, an arm left flat on the bed swells. This wedge holds the arm raised and stable so fluid can drain away from the hand and forearm, and it is recommended for women following mastectomy and other node clearance surgery.

It also takes the load off the elbow and forearm, which are easy places to develop a pressure injury in a client who cannot reposition their own arm. Memory foam shapes to the limb while a rigid off-loading foam underneath keeps the angle from collapsing, and the non-slip backing holds the wedge in place through the night.

The antibacterial cover is waterproof, breathable and fire resistant, and unzips so it can be replaced without buying a new wedge. It attaches to the Stabilo modular mattress system where that is in use.
