Clients with limited hip flexion often end up perched on the front of the cushion, with the pelvis rolling back and the trunk following it. This Spex Universal Positioning Base has a fixed forward ramp built into the front of the base, so the thighs can sit where the hips actually allow.

A pre ischial ledge sits behind that ramp to hold the pelvis back in the seat and take the sliding out of the day. The base is high density foam, rigid enough to hold the shape under load and easy to trim when the fitting needs adjusting.

It is designed to go underneath the air or gel cushion your client already uses, so the pressure care surface keeps doing its job while the base takes care of position. Contouring and obliquity pads are included for asymmetry, and they can be moved as needs change.
