Most services want one sling that handles the everyday jobs. The Oxford Quickfit is that sling: a loop-attachment general purpose design with divided legs that can be fitted with the client seated or lying, without a full roll.
The divided leg sections cross under the thighs for a seated transfer or stay uncrossed for toileting, so transfer, toileting and bathing are all covered without changing slings. A modesty strap is included. The fabric is polyester, which dries quickly and laundres well between clients, so it works in a shared equipment pool. Sizes are colour coded for quick identification: LG6055 is the medium, LG6067 the large.
This version has no head support, so it suits clients who can hold their own head and upper trunk. Anyone needing head and neck support should be assessed for the head support version of the same sling. It attaches by loops and works with spreader bar hoists including Oxford Advance, Elara, Presence, Stature, HPL500 and HPL700.
