The Silva Travel-Lite is a children’s sling built for life away from home. It folds down into its own bag, so it goes in the boot, into respite, on a flight, or to grandparents’ place without taking up room.
It works two ways. A carer can lift a smaller child manually using the handles, and the same sling attaches to a hoist where one is available. The leg sections can be used divided or as a hammock, so you can set it up for a child who needs the legs supported together and change it as the child’s posture changes.
The cut wraps around the child and gives a settled, contained feeling during the lift, which helps a child who finds transfers distressing.
