The Milano is built for busy wards and care homes. It tilts from 5 degrees forward to 35 degrees back, the back reclines, and the leg rest moves from 90 to 160 degrees, with a negative angle position for tight knees. Staff can change someone’s position for pressure care or comfort without lifting or transferring them.
Seat width, seat depth and footplate height adjust. Dartex covers wipe clean, and the memory foam cushion lifts out. The manual version uses gas struts; the motorised version runs from a handset and battery.
Who it suits
People in hospital or residential care who sit out of bed for much of the day and need regular repositioning, where the setting needs a chair that is easy to clean and move. We can bring one out to trial, Tasmania-wide.
