A manually tilting care chair for clients who spend most of the day seated and need their posture held rather than corrected over and over by staff. Tilt in space moves the whole seat and back as one unit, so the client keeps the position you set and slides forward less through the afternoon.
The backrest is moulded to give contact across the trunk, and an articulated head support is built in rather than clipped on. Legrest elevation runs from a slight drop through to horizontal, which helps with oedema and with getting weight off the back of the thighs. A negative forward tilt is available to bring a client who can stand up onto their feet.
This chair is supplied without arms, which leaves the sides clear for hoist access and side transfers, and the push handle is set where a carer can reach it comfortably. Reflexion foam is fitted for pressure care.
