The Cura Contour is for people whose posture a standard care chair can’t hold. Its Oyster backrest system has 25 separate adjustment points, so the back can be shaped around a scoliosis, kyphosis or pelvic obliquity and adjusted again as things change.
It comes in Kinder and Adult sizes. Options include electric operation, a lap tray, seat cushion upgrades, footplate padding and a large choice of fabrics and vinyls.
Who it suits
Children and adults with complex, asymmetrical postures who need a chair set up around their body. Set-up is detailed, so we work through it with the prescribing OT or physio and trial the chair where it will be used, Tasmania-wide.
