Some clients need their position changed many times a day, and that only happens if a change is quick to make. The Configura Advance Electric puts tilt and recline on powered control, so the client or the carer can make a change at the press of a button and actually keep to the repositioning plan.
Tilt in space takes the load off the sacrum and ischial tuberosities without the client sliding down the chair, and there is forward tilt as well to help someone get to standing. The backrest reclines with reduced shear, which protects skin that is already vulnerable. The integrated Visco pressure reducing cushion sits under a vinyl cover with vapour permeable fabric on every contact area, so the chair handles both pressure and heat.
Who it suits
People with neurological conditions, advanced frailty or high pressure injury risk in aged care, hospital and home care. The chair is ordered to the client’s seat width, depth adjusts without tools through ClickLock, and the padded arms move with the chair through tilt so the client stays supported at every angle. A drop-down arm option makes side transfers easier, and the full length compensating legrest and adjustable footplate finish the postural setup.
