The Daily Chair is a care chair for people who spend most of the day seated and need more support than a domestic armchair gives them.
Who it suits
It suits residents and clients with reduced trunk control, fatigue or limited mobility who need a supported seated position through the day, and who are transferred in and out by a carer or with equipment. Sitting posture is the thing being managed here: a supported chair keeps the person upright, comfortable and part of what is happening around them.
For carers, a proper care chair makes repositioning and daily cares easier and reduces the improvising that happens when someone is seated in furniture that was never meant for them.
