When an arm keeps sliding off a narrow armrest, the client pulls to that side and the trunk follows. A longer, wider pad gives the forearm somewhere to stay.
This is the longer of the two flat armpads Raz makes for its mobile shower commodes. It mounts in place of the standard pad and adjusts laterally and medially, fore and aft, and for angle, so you can set it inward or tilted to where the forearm naturally rests rather than where the frame happens to put it.
The pad is moulded for the shower, so it does not absorb water and it wipes clean. It works with the Raz pivoting arm mount if you need the arm to swing up and out of the way for a side transfer. It is sold singly as left or right. If the arm needs to be held in a trough with the hand supported, the Raz arm trough is the better answer.
