Flip-down abductor hardware is for the client who needs a pommel to hold the hips and knees in a good position, but who also needs the seat clear for transfers. The pad swings down out of the way when the client is getting in or out, then flips back up and locks for sitting.
The stem adjusts for height so the pad sits close against the seat surface without a gap under it, which matters when a client slides forward or has strong adductor tone. An interface plate lets you move the pad forward and back, side to side, and change its angle, so windswept posture can be accommodated. Release is by push button, which keeps it manageable for a carer working on their own.
This is the hardware only, so you choose the pad separately and match the bracket to the thickness of the seat your client already has.
