The Pommel O2 addresses it in the seating surface itself, with a detachable medial thigh support that separates the knees without forcing them, sitting on a pressure redistributing cushion filled with SmartCells.
Both the cushion and the thigh support are covered separately, so a carer can lift the pommel out of the way for a transfer or for personal care and replace it in seconds. Compartments in the cushion can be adjusted by hand, so pressure management and positioning can be balanced for the individual client.
