Post-operative positioning changes from day to day, and this cushion is shaped to handle several of those jobs. It stabilises the foot, supports a limb at the angle the surgeon asked for, and holds a body part steady while a client recovers.
The working layer is a rigid recycled off-loading foam with a closed structure, so it returns to shape after long periods of load. An air mesh layer sits against the skin to keep the contact surface ventilated and reduce pressure injury risk, and a non-slip base stops the cushion travelling during the night.
It is radiolucent for imaging, and the antibacterial waterproof cover comes off with a zip for washing and disinfection.
