The SmartSeatPro II is a highly adjustable specialist seating system for people with complex postural management and pressure care needs. It combines tilt in space with back angle recline, and a four part back and head system where each section adjusts for height, depth, angle, offset and rotation. That means asymmetries can be stabilised or accommodated from the feet through the pelvis and up the spine to the head.
Who it suits
It is built for adults with conditions such as cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis and progressive neurological disease, where posture changes over time and a fixed chair stops being suitable within months. The modular back means the chair can be reconfigured as the client changes.
This is the medium size with manual tilt and recline, operated by gas action, which keeps it simpler to maintain and suitable for settings without reliable charging. Built in indicators show tilt angle and back angle, so a therapist can record and repeat a prescribed position. The armrests carry seat width guides and come off completely for side transfers, and the removable padded sections can be modified where a client needs more or less support.
