The Configura Advance is a manual tilt in space care chair ordered to a seat width and then adjusted to the client in the room. Seat depth and height are set through the tool-free ClickLock system, so a clinician can fit the chair properly on the first visit and reset it later without a service call or a spanner.
Tilt in space with lockable reduced-shear backrest recline lets a carer offload pressure and manage fatigue without dragging the client’s back up the upholstery. The elevating legrest has an adjustable footplate, and a drop-down armrest option clears the way for side transfers. A visco foam cushion with a pressure-relieving aperture comes as standard, and the vinyl cover uses vapour-permeable fabric across every contact area, so the chair breathes where the client sits but still wipes down.
Who it suits
Clients in aged care, hospital or home care who need supported seating out of bed for long periods and who benefit from tilt for posture, fatigue or pressure management. Because the chair is reconfigured rather than replaced, it suits facilities where one chair moves between residents, and clients whose condition is changing.
