Sandal wedges sit under the Activity Chair sandals to change the angle the foot is held at. They are the answer for a client whose ankle does not sit flat on the footboard: fixed plantarflexion, a tight heel cord, or a foot that turns in or out at rest.
Forcing a foot flat onto a board is uncomfortable and usually fails within a few minutes. Wedging the sandal to the angle the ankle actually has means the foot bears weight where it is, the client tolerates the position, and the pressure stays off the forefoot.
Wedges stack, so you can build up the angle you need and change it as range alters. Each side can be set differently for an asymmetric presentation. Sizes follow the sandals.
