This is the Caribou supplied with parted foot plates, for a client who needs each foot set independently. Parted plates let you position one foot forward or rotated to suit a leg length difference, a fixed ankle, or an asymmetric standing base, which a single plate cannot do.
The frame itself is the standard Caribou: it tilts from upright through to horizontal so the client can be loaded flat and brought up to standing without a difficult transfer, and it supports prone, upright and supine positions depending on how you set it. The tilt is designed to be operated without letting go of the client.
It takes the full Caribou accessory range, so chest plates, side supports, shoulder and arm supports and head supports can be added as your client’s needs change, with no need to replace the whole frame.
