The Fuze JR is a tilt chair for older children and petite adults who have outgrown paediatric seating but do not fit a standard adult frame. The frame grows, so the chair can follow a teenager through several years rather than being traded in.
Tilt runs through a centre of gravity pivot, which keeps the footprint of the chair steady as it moves and keeps the action light for whoever is operating it. The mechanism needs no maintenance, and the frame is built to take daily use at school, at home and in the car.
The Take-Apart option lets an attendant split the chair in seconds without tools, bringing the heaviest piece down to something one person can lift into a boot. Manual dynamic recline, an adjustable width frame and transit tie downs to WC-19 and ISO-7176-19 can all be specified.
