Children with mild to moderate postural needs often manage a standard classroom chair badly: they slide forward, lean to one side and spend their attention on staying upright, not on the task. The Pango gives them a supported seat that still looks like a school chair.
Who it suits
It suits children who need some pelvic and trunk support to sit well for a table top activity, but who do not need a full moulded seating system. The seat adjusts for depth and height, the back angle can be set, and a padded pelvic belt holds the hips back in the seat. The seat to floor angle can also be tilted, which helps a child who tips forward or who needs the pelvis loaded differently.
The cushioned seat and back make it comfortable enough for a full session, and it takes the Pango headrest, laterals, hip guides and other supports if the child’s needs change over the year. For a teacher, it is a chair that arrives set up and stays set.
We are Tasmanian owned and can bring one to the classroom for a fitting.
