Hip guides sit either side of the pelvis on the Pango and stop the hips sliding sideways in the seat. For a child who drifts to one side over a session, or who has an asymmetric posture you are working to correct, they hold the base steady so the trunk supports above them can do their job.
They are supplied as a pair and fit to the seat, giving contact at the hip and upper thigh. Keeping the pelvis central usually means less repositioning through the day, which is welcome for teacher aides and family carers.
