The Victor is a mobile hoist built for settings where transfers run all day: group homes, aged care, hospitals and busy family homes. It lifts from floor level, so a client who has fallen can be recovered with the equipment already in the building.
The frame is aluminium and stainless steel with moulded covers, chosen to survive wet rooms and hard cleaning schedules, and the castors are sized to roll over thresholds and carpet without a fight. Leg spread is electric, so the base opens around a wheelchair at the touch of a switch while the carer keeps both hands on the client.
Who it suits
It suits heavier clients and services doing high transfer volumes. It takes the Handi-Move Body Support as well as slings and spreader bars, so one hoist covers clients with quite different handling plans. The battery lifts out for charging, a digital scale can be fitted to weigh during the lift, and mechanical emergency lowering is standard.
