Most mobile hoists stop well short of what a larger client weighs. The Oxford Presence is a bariatric lifter built for full sling transfers of heavier adults in aged care, hospital and home settings, with one hoist covering the whole resident or patient mix rather than two.
The legs open and close from the hand control, so the carer can spread the base around a wide recliner or a bariatric bed without stepping away from the client. The sling hook range is long at both ends: it reaches the floor for a fall, and it gets high enough for a raised bed.
Check the width with the legs closed against your narrowest doorway, since that is the figure that decides where the hoist can go. Smart Monitor diagnostics come standard, which makes service history straightforward for a facility.
