This is the bathing sling with head support, for a client who cannot hold their head steady while they are suspended. The moon shaped support sits behind the head and neck so the person can be taken back into a reclined position for hair washing without the head dropping away.

PVC anti slip fabric copes with water: it wipes down, dries fast and does not hold moisture against the skin. The opening through the seat and lower back keeps the area clear for washing and for toileting, and an abdominal belt with hook and loop fastening keeps the client settled while the carer works.

It is a practical choice for bathrooms where one carer runs the whole routine, and it attaches to 2 or 4 point spreader bars on both mobile hoists and ceiling track.
