Setup is close to automatic. The pump calibrates to the person, holds the pressure it needs and steps in only when required, so an overnight carer is not adjusting settings. Modes cover alternating and constant low pressure, and there is a caring mode for when staff need a firm stable surface to work on.

The heel section is built into the system, and the stretch cover keeps shear and moisture down at the skin.
