The Cura1 3508 is the simplest pager in the range and the one most home carers end up with. It sits in a pocket and alerts, by tone or vibration, when a paired Cura1 sensor pad, mat or call button is triggered, with an LED showing what has happened.
It receives straight from the sensors, so there is no separate monitor to buy, site or power. A bed pad at night, a chair pad during the day and a call pendant is a typical set, and all three report to the one pager. Paired with a 2719 or 2720 pad transmitter it resets itself after the client returns to the bed or chair, which means the carer is not walking back to clear an alarm every time. It runs on AA batteries and comes with a soft protective cover, batteries and a quick start guide, so it is working within a few minutes of opening the box.
It suits home care and respite where one carer looks after one client and needs to hear an alert from another room or the garden. Where staff need to know which of several clients has alarmed, step up to the 3501 LCD Pager, which shows the device ID.
