The Cura1 3502 gives a resident a call button in the hand, wherever they are. The red button is large, rubber and easy to press with limited hand function, and an LED confirms the signal has gone to the paired ActiveCare monitor, console or pager.
The green cancel button is the other half of it. The client can clear their own call once help has arrived or the need has passed, which saves a carer walking to the room simply to reset something. In a group home with one staff member on shift, that is time back in the day. A wall mount bracket is included so the handset has a home and does not end up under a cushion.
It suits supported accommodation and home settings where the client can press a button reliably and is able to judge when the call no longer applies.
