A straightforward falls monitor for services that want falls alerting without a complicated set up. It takes any Cura1 Economy pad or mat through an RJ10 socket, sounds when the sensor is triggered, and re-arms itself after the alarm so the next activation is covered without a staff member touching it.
You can choose between three tones and adjust the volume, which helps in shared rooms and in homes where a loud alarm distresses the person more than it helps. A delay setting stops brief movement from triggering it. A red LED shows the alarm and a blue LED warns when the batteries are getting low, so a flat battery does not silently end the monitoring.
It runs on batteries or a plug pack, clips on with the supplied mounting strap, and can feed a nurse call system where one exists.
