DuoDrive adds cruise control to the e-motion power assist wheels. The client sets a speed on a wireless control and the wheels hold it, so a long footpath, a shopping centre or a flat stretch of road can be covered without pushing the whole way.
Underneath, each push rim carries a sensor that reads the client’s push and a motor in the hub adds power in proportion, so indoors and on short trips the client propels as normal and the chair responds to their own effort.
This build is fitted with Marathon Plus Evo tyres in black, which are puncture protected for footpaths and gravel, and Curve L push rims, which give a larger contact area for a client whose grip is weak. It comes without the ECS remote control.
